\u201cI have a depth of knowledge and experience in a number of areas including adult children of alcoholics, alcoholism, family of origin issues, victims of abuse, and trauma. Having worked in community services for over 30 years I have treated a wide range of populations. I enjoy working with individuals toward a more meaningful and satisfying life. I believe I can listen, learn, provide trust, make sound professional assessments and help the individual achieve goals.\nMy original orientation to therapeutic approaches and methodology was Rogerian, client centered therapy. This afforded me a sound basis to utilize other methods which incorporate cognitive and behavioral therapies. I use a variety of techniques to help the client work through problems, self defeating habits and ineffective ways of coping.
